Application of Interactive Virtual Reality Technologies in Marketing Virtual Tour Routes in Jordan

Abstract

This study focused on identifying the enormous potential offered by technological techniques in marketing virtual tourist itineraries in Jordan, through the interface electronic application, containing information including tourist trails hypothetical within the tourist and archaeological sites within the mechanism of two- and three-dimensional display, and the ability to display images tourist and archaeological sites, with dimensions and measurements of a variety of fees, which contributes to the identification of geographical pattern in the distribution of tourism services in places of tourist attractions, using spatial analysis based on the techniques and applications of computer systems and the virtual world. Researcher adopted in conducting the study to analyze the link neighbors (Neighborhood Analysis), and based on virtual reality techniques, and analyze the focus Links (Hotspot), and tests other Kartograveh within the extension (Spatial Analyst) in the program (ARCGIS 10), in order to link virtual tourist itineraries within the sites tourist and archaeological each other, thus providing the possibility of dynamic navigation by exact scenario in advance.
