This research aims at shedding light on the performance appraisal process in Egyptian hotels, besides determining the main data resources used in this process. Questionnaires were directed to 18 five star human resources managers in great Cairo. The collected data was analyzed statistically by “Statistical Package for Social Sciences” 19. The research revealed lack of using multi-source feedback from all perspectives that are affected by employee performance "360 degree feedback", besides remarkشلامث defects in Performance appraisal procedures. The research recommends focusing on collecting data from the main four sources of performance appraisal data "Supervisor, peers, Subordinates, customers” (360- ‘degree method).
