The Role of Some General Features in the Development of Management Abilities Among Employees in the Hospitality Sector

Abstract

            The research aimed to study some general features that affect managerial abilities among employees in some hotels in Alexandria. Data were collected from a random sample of 225 employees from five hotels in Alexandria by using a questionnaire through personal interview. The data was analyzed statistically using median, standard deviation, percentages, simple correlation coefficient, and multiple regression function. The results showed that there was a statistically positive significant correlation between managerial abilities and number of working years and education level at probability of 0.05.
