Abstract

Artificial intelligence, especially data-driven approaches such as machine learning, promises to fundamentally change economic and social systems globally. It helps people predict the future and make better decisions. It is expected that by 2030, artificial intelligence will add $15 trillion to the global economy. Artificial intelligence is currently one of the most important priorities for the public policy agendas of most countries at the national and international levels. This research is descriptive research as it aims to determine the role of artificial intelligence technologies in combating. Smuggling crimes at airports and their repercussions on tourist destinations, as well as identifying ways and means of smuggling through airports, and ways and means of artificial intelligence techniques in combating smuggling crimes and the requirements for supporting them. It was applied to a sample of (75) experts working at Burj Al Arab Airport, and its results indicated the importance of The availability of huge data and its use at airports, as its availability, availability, and exchange between countries and each other will facilitate the security of airports and the ease of reaching criminals or smugglers by referring to that data immediately after these individuals pass through the airport gates, which contributes to securing cities and tourist destinations.
