The eco hotel is a magnet for religious tourism

Abstract

Traditional patterns of tourism are no longer having been the only tourism attraction especially with the expectation of the tourism experts that most of these patterns will be classified as environment destructive. Here rises the importance of the study which aims to clarify the role of eco-tourism and the importance of establishing and developing eco-lodge as one of the most important elements of eco-tourism in Egypt. A field study has been conducted on a random sample of Egyptian, Arabs, and foreigners tourists in Edrar Emlal Eco-lodge in Siwa Oasis in order to reach some important recommendations for the development of eco- lodge in Egypt. Results of the Research: 1- Eco-tourism plays an important role in the tourists trends in the century, so. A world tourism market tends to shift from traditional tourism programs to more creative programs. 2- There are many successful models for eco-lodges in Egypt but they are not getting its fair share of global fame as a result of lack of advertising. 3- The field study confirmed the importance of the establishment and development of eco-lodges and marketing it properly. Recommendations of the Research: 1 - Allocate certain places to adopt promoting environmental tourism and developing eco-lodges in Egypt, so the researcher insists on the existence of a specific mechanism to coordinate efforts between the different authorities and ministries. 2. Diversifying the tourism product and not rely on the cultural tourism products in the advertising campaigns for Egypt. 3-Involve local people in the establishment and management of eco-lodge, and support their handicrafts. 4- Improving the basic health services and the means of transportation especially in the natural areas, and provide tourists with publications and the bench marks for each region.
