The impact of tourism industry on phenomena causing poverty in the provinces of North Upper (Minia - Beni Suef - Fayoum)

Abstract

The tourism industry of the most important industries that could contribute in solving the problems facing the citizens' level and the provinces of the north, which comes on top of the problem of poverty, Tourism is the most important and fastest ways through which is the reduction of the phenomenon of poverty in these provinces. As a result of the economic benefits that will accrue to the poor as a result of tourist activity through the expansion of employment of the local population in tourism projects, and opportunities to create local projects offering services such as selling tourist souvenirs and gifts. And the provinces of North level (Fayoum - Beni Suef - Minia) possesses many of the elements of tourist attractions, and in spite of that, the tourism industry does not contribute sufficiently to improve the conditions of members of the community in these provinces.
