A Study Some Factors Affecting on Employee Turnover in The Hospitality Industry: Comparative study for Jordanian Tourist's Destinations

Abstract

The study aims to discuss some of the factors that affect employees’ turnover in hospitality industry in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the five and four star hotels and tourist's destinations found in Amman, Aqaba, Petra, Dead Sea in Jordan. The findings show that the trends of respondents for employees' satisfaction were positive in Amman 90%, and the trends of respondents for organizational culture were positive in the other destinations (Aqaba, Petra, and Dead Sea). The involuntary termination of employees' was negative in all tourism destinations in Jordan. The study revealed that employee turnover average in the Amman city was 8.54%, whereas it was 13.33% in Petra city.
