The study aims at assessing the contribution of electronic education in the progression of hotel education from the point of view of both the student and the faculty member. It also aims at measuring the satisfaction level of the student towards the electronic book. A questionnaire was distributed among the faculty members of six different courses in the department of Hotel Management, and among the students registered in the same courses, throughout two consecutive years, where the syllabus and the faculty members teaching the courses remained unchanged.
After analyzing the results of the questionnaire, the main result reached was: the clear improvement in the educational level and grades of the students educated via electronic education. The study recommends implementing the use of electronic education in teaching and improving the skills of faculty members in this regard.
