Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess the reality of tourism investment in Ismailia governorate, because of its diverse attractions, whether civilized or natural, which is considered a source of attracting tourism investments in the desired manner for this region, but the weak incentives provided by the state to investors in this governorate, led to Cases of hesitation among local investors and reluctance of foreign investors, so the field study relied on a number of personal interviews in addition to the use of questionnaires, which were distributed to a random sample of investment experts and tourism development in order to identify The study is based on data analysis using percentage and standard deviation test to identify the extent of dispersion or divergence towards the main axes included in the research tool. The main drawbacks of the study area, the multiplicity of land owners, and the absence of a specialized body for tourism investment, the study also reached a set of recommendations, including the need to double marketing efforts aimed at stimulating the incoming tourism movement Encouraging the private sector to invest in tourism projects. It was found that the means used by the state to develop the tourism product in this region are insufficient, and it must be within the framework of achieving sustainable tourism development in order to achieve and attract tourism investment to the tourism potential it enjoys. The study area through the discovery of its inherent elements to transform this region into a fertile ground for development and investment and thus achieve sustainable development.
