المستخلص

This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the reality of the application of e-learning and its technological means among faculty members and their assistants in colleges and institutes of tourism and hotels in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its impact on the quality of higher education outcomes by application to the tourism and hotel education sector.

The researchers used the descriptive analytical method, and a sample of faculty members and their assistants was selected. The sample amounted to 80 faculty members and their assistants. The results of the study concluded that there is an influential relationship between the use of e-learning and the quality of higher education outcomes in universities and institutes of tourism and hotels in Egypt. It also contributes to raising the quality of higher education outcomes in the education sector, especially tourism and hotel education in Egypt. The study showed that there are many colleges and institutes specialized in tourism and hotel education in Egypt, which use some technological means and applications to implement e-learning by combining traditional education and e-learning. The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is trying to benefit from technological development and adapt and employ e-learning technology methods more broadly in the higher education system in Egypt in general, and the tourism and hotel education sector in particular, which contribute to solving many of the problems facing this system, in order to Raising the quality of educational outcomes and graduating qualified human.
