Antecedents of Green Innovation in Saudi Travel Agencies: A Dual Mediation Examination

Abstract

The study aims to assess the impact of green human resource management on green innovation, green organisational culture, and green organisational identity, as well as the impact of green organisational culture and green organisational identity on green innovation. The study also seeks to determine if green organisational culture and identity play a mediating role in the link between green human resource management and green innovation in travel agencies. To meet the study's objectives, a survey questionnaire was constructed to collect data from a random sample of Saudi Arabian travel agency employees; 334 surveys were provided, but only 296 were evaluated. According to the study's findings, green human resource management significantly and positively impacts green innovation, organisational culture, and identity. Furthermore, the findings demonstrated that green organisational culture and identity significantly and positively impacted green innovation. Lastly, the findings revealed that green organisational culture and identity partially mediate the link between green human resource management and green innovation.
