Abstract

The study focused on revealing the reality of the tourism movement and its development in the Arab world. The study combines theory and application because it includes a theoretical framework that deals with the development of the tourism sector in the Arab world, and a practical application that shows the aspects of the actual development of the tourism sector in the Arab world and the obstacles that accompanied this development resulting from the events of the Arab Spring. The developments of the tourism movement until 2019 were discussed, with the omission of that movement during 2020-2021 due to the conditions of the global health crisis that the world is going through and the spread of COVID-19, which is an exceptional period through which the tourism movement cannot be judged.
