The profession of a university faculty member is considered one of the most prestigious and prestigious professions in all societies. He is the basic pillar upon which one can rely in achieving the university’s goals, which are represented in the academic, professional, and cultural preparation of its students, in addition to his job as a scientific researcher and his participation in serving the environment, developing society, and solving its problems. Therefore, The current study aims to identify the level of quality of life and job satisfaction for faculty members at higher institutes of tourism and hotels in the canal cities, as well as to verify the relationship between quality of life and job satisfaction, and to identify whether both the level of quality of life and job satisfaction differ among faculty members depending on each level. By gender (males, females) and academic degree (teacher, assistant professor, professor),To achieve these goals, the descriptive approach was used, and the study sample included (60) members of the teaching staff at the higher institutes of tourism and hotels in the canal cities. The study tools included a questionnaire to measure the degree of quality of life, which includes the following dimensions (quality, mental and physical health, social quality, quality of the work environment). The data was analyzed using statistical analysis packages for the social, and the results in the availability of quality of life dimensions for faculty members at the higher institutes of tourism and hotels in the canal cities to a moderate degree.
