Work ethics are considered to be one of the main pillars to facilitate work efficiency, therefore, organizations or official tourism organizations need to enhance the ethical behavior of its members and promote confidence and loyalty from a moral and ethical perspective, as well as maximizing ethical values in their activities to ensure satisfaction and loyalty to stakeholders and customers. The study tried to shed light on two key variables: work ethics and the employees' job performance in the official tourism organizations, through investigating the relationship between them and the impact on the tourism sector. The study was based on questionnaire forms to collect the data used in the study and the study population was the employees of the official tourism organizations in Alexandria. The current results have shown a statistically significant relationship between work ethics, (Commitment to regulations and laws, responsibility, confidentiality, honesty, perfection, fairness, respect for time, respect and good treatment, transparency and integrity, participation and working as a team) and the level of job performance. The level of job performance was fundamentally affected by only two dimensions of work ethics (transparency, integrity and honesty), while it was not statistically affected by each of (compliance with regulations and laws, responsibility, confidentiality, perfection, fairness, respect for time, respect and good treatment, participation and working as a team).
