Sustainable transport to contribute to sustainable tourism development

Abstract

Sustainable transport or green transport, as it is called, refers to the use of means of transport with the least negative impact on the environment, and the use of transport systems, policies and networks that integrate economic, social and environmental objectives together, as an integrated whole without focusing on one side versus neglect of the other side, while achieving balance. Between meeting the needs of successive generations, and ensuring the provision of services to all people at any time and place. Tourism activities are totally dependent on transport services, and thus the development of transport activity in accordance with the principles of sustainability will inevitably facilitate and provide modern tourism products and services. This prompted us to the subject of this study, which crystallizes in the attempt to answer the question: How to apply modern technology to services Transport sector according to the principles of sustainability in order to achieve sustainable tourism development.
