Evaluation of the Efficiency of Electronic Training for Students of Higher Tourism and Hotels Institutes to Improve their Skills in the Labor Market

Abstract

Witnessed the current era; A spectacular revolution in science and technology and its applications in the labor market. The information revolution brought about a quantum leap or what is known as global transformations that affected all educational and training processes, especially with regard to teaching and training methods. This has prompted many specialists in the field of training to employ these technologies in Developing training programs and what is known as “E-Training” appeared.

Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the efficiency of electronic training for students of tourism and hotels institutes in order to improve their practical skills in the tourism labor market. And (843) questionnaires were distributed to a sample of students of tourism and hotel institutes of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The SPSS V.26 statistical analysis program was used to analyze the data.

The results of the research revealed that there are some obstacles that affect the efficiency of e-training for students of tourism colleges and institutes.

This affects the decrease in their practical skills in the tourism labor market, and the field of student interaction in the use of e-training is somewhat weak. This prevents benefiting from the e-training system used in many successful institutions, in addition to the need to work on merging between face-to-face training and e-training in tourism colleges and institutes in the future.
